Yes, I'll appreciate that.

Just a suggestion -- if I may -- in the spirit of what the people in
Mexico involved in the campaign (including Cristina herself) prefer:

They would rather *not* have the governments of, say, the U.S.,
Canada, etc. involved. They'd like *individuals*, as such or using
their personal affiliations, to demand *immediate release* of the
prisoners, but without invoking governments or suggesting any kind of
inter-governmental, external pressure on Mexico.

The reasons are two. One is principle: Basically, their idea is that
-- as little in common as there may be between Garrido and them --
this is still a Mexican issue that needs to be solved by the Mexicans.
And two is tactical: They don't want to allow Garrido to use the
nationalistic, patriotic card and pretend there are pressures on him
from the "enemies of Mexico" using "human rights" as the excuse.

In principle, they're not against bringing the issue to, say, the UN.
But they'd like to exhaust Mexico's internal legal mechanisms first.
Again, they want this to be a campaign based in Mexico, where
individuals abroad join in demanding freedom for Cristina and Mr
Reséndiz *in their terms*. I don't know whether this is a realistic
expectation, but this is what they prefer.

It's a thin line, but I think people may write letters to the governor
as such individuals.

Hope this is an appropriate request. And thanks for your interest.

Julio
