It's a heck of a lot easier for the capitalist class to congratulate
itself than to admit that the economic performance of the US economy
since Volcker/Greenspan is due to the deepening exploitation and
humiliation of US workers, with their chemical loyalty oaths,
perpetual surveillance [work as a crime scene in need of forensic
analysis], endless miles of cubicles etc..............
