Serrano is from the U.S. right? Attacks on christianity (not saying piss christ necessarily is) aren't generally considered racist because in predominantly christian nation,s christianity is assocated with religion and belief in god in general. So anti-christian stuff is perceived as a general attack on theism. This doesn't mean it doesn't enrage certain people, of course.
