Finding the quotation from Mr. Lindblad atrocious and almost unbelievable, I checked it. He did indeed say that (at least in translation) BUT in the context of the surrounding paragraphs it is clearer that  what he meant was that equality and justice were "respectable ideals" praised by communist ideology. In other words the seduction consisted of the inclusion of those ideals within the ideology.  Mr. Lindblad is undoubtedly a nitwit, not seeming to notice that the neoliberal ideology never tires of echoing hollow strains of "freedom" and "democracy". However, it's no use to exaggerate the foolishness his views by quoting out of context as Mr. Milne has done.
