vs. "free markets"? didn't he write in response to the 1960s that the
"West" was suffering from excesses of democracy?

Huntington is an interesting character. His writings are infused with
references to Marxist terms and authors, but his politics are 'realist'.
This gives them a real tension that differ from more mainstream neocons
like Wolfowitz. I am nearly finished with his book and will post a review
when I get a chance.
