I guess you are talking of social skills such as the graceful penmanship shown by Apopleptic when he wrote to me on 3/23/06:
"go stick a sledge hammer up your ass you pathetic, inconsiderate waste
of cells". (SIC).
It should be a good habit to consider all the available evidence before making pronouncements on others. This is always a good social skill.
With respect to hedge funds, I don't know how much you actually know about the way they operate but, just in case, they do not demand social skills since they are basically impersonal, computer program run quantitative prescriptions for automatic trading. That is, algorithms do not go out there socializing and hanging out at Scores after work. Even some one suffering from Asperger's Syndrome like your buddy Apopleptic can handle one.
Speaking of social skills, I remember the numerous nasty exchanges you have had with several people, especially Louis Proyect and Henry CK Liu, in several lists.
Let's keep some minimal honesty, please.
