Brown's use of âThe history is bad enough thereâs no need to
embellish it.â, which appears to be wielded as an aspersion of Churchill
by using Thornton's words, is totally out of context and potentially libelous.
Just my $.02 on the level of scholarship, citing prowess, and more
importantly, integrity, of the hatchet jobs done on Ward Churchill's work
over the years.

Brown is a complete scumbag. When I raised hell about him accusing
Churchill of perjury (his errors about the Mandan smallpox outbreak were
part of a legal defense mounted in the aftermath of a Columbus Day
protest), he backed off. Here's some things I have written about this
creep. I should mention, btw, that one of the reasons me and Doug have
patched things up was his telling Brown where to get off, when he showed up
on lbo-talk.
