need the Great White Father, Cheney, orchestrating everything from
his secret bunker, while crack special ops suicide pilots handled the
details.

I consider myself a failed novelist, having given it a shot back in 1980 or
so, but I do like to use my imagination. For the life of me, I cannot
imagine a CIA plot to fly planes into the Pentagon and the WTC. This
involves understanding the power of "old school ties" that binds together
the CIA, investment bankers, Pentagon employees, etc.
