In any case, I don't much care for northerners judging the culture of non-northerners. They may be right; they may be wrong; they may be misleading. It just doesn't carry the conviction compared to hearing it from someone from the talked-about culture, George Galloway or no George Galloway. Culture is a complicated matter, more so than the physics of collapsing buildings if I can say so. One could as easily say that middle-Easterns have so much experience with northern imperialism that they know what it is capable of.
