At the risk of adding to the large volume of my recent posts, I wanted
to add this:
E-mail and emoticons do not quite successfully convey the tone of a
heated argument among friends. I hope those I am arguing with (Carrol,
Doug, et al) will realize that I compose my missives with more of a
mischievous grin than a petulant frown. This is no appeal for mercy...
in fact, I think (objectively speaking, of course!) that I am winning
the argument at this point ;-).
