Doesn't make sense, does it? If the central banks are correct, then it is time to BUY gold and the rest. Or am I not looking beyond enough valleys and peaks? Should we SELL, because there is a boom? Or BUY because because there is a boom?
I offer you the classic fallacy of economic reasoning. 1) Either we are in a boom or a bust. If we are in a boom, then it makes sense to BUY. If we are in a bust, then surely things can only get better tomorrow (central bank action!!!!), so it makes sense to BUY. 2) Either we are in a boom or a bust. If we are in a bust, then it makes sense to SELL. If we are in a boom, then surely things can only get worse tomorrow, so it makes sense to SELL. Do I get a Bank of Sweden prize for this? --raghu.
