Indeed. Since argument is useless, let me at least make a prediction. No
version of conspiracy theory, even the occasional true theory
(Watergate, Tea Pot Dome), will ever make a substantial political
difference.

Exposure of the lies about WMDs in Iraq have not made and will not make
any political difference.

Probably already 10s of millions of americans 'believe' that something
was fishy about 9/11 -- AND IT DOESN'T MAKE A ANY DAMN DIFFERENCE IN
THEIR ACTIVITY.

Conspiricism is consistently, even when it lands on a real conspiracy,
utterly trivial politically. Though in one way and one way only it makes
a difference: it distracts leftists from their proper business and
clutters leftist conversation with nonsense.
