god I hope so. That period was the high-water mark of economics. It was the last moment when economists were regularly, publicly, making important predictions which were right (cf Keynes "Essays In Persuasion"). If there can be a film abut John Nash that wins Oscars, surely to Christ it is not beyond the wit of man to turn men like Sweezy and Galbraith into movie heroes.
