Probably not, although it might have influenced the bushboys to give it
a green light.  McGovern was merely saying that now that it is in play,
Bush might go for Iran and whip up a patriotic whoop.  I don't know,
but these days, whenever I expect the worst, it seems that something
even "more worse" happens.
