A question in reaction to David Barkin's informative comment:

To what extent the cushioned effect of corn imports from the U.S. on
Mexico's "traditional" agriculture has resulted from the overall
upswing in the primary prices cycle, as opposed to -- say -- rapid
adjustment (upgrading, diversification, etc.) by the producers?
