I was told that some Marxist who were kicked out of the labor movement
by McCarthyism ended up on Wall Street -- and then used Marx to make a
bundle. Apocryphal? Maybe, but I don't see how leftist thought is
totally useless to the right. Nowadays, there are a bunch of neo-con
types who think that the COMMUNIST MANIFESTO was brilliant.
