Au contraire, Jim. The more I think, the less I write. In my view,
good writing has more in common with dancing than with thinking. For
example, a few lines from a NYTimes article today make a wonderful
poem just by snipping them out of the story and putting in a break
between "tape" and "hung":
A tattered piece of crime scene tape
hung from a tree in the field where Mr. Bush spoke.
A toilet seat lay on its side in the grass.
