It's like, you know, user-generated this time, man. Social networking, video sharing, stuff like that. The capitalists hope to make a buck off all this selfless collective labor. Maybe, but think of how few of these fantasies survived from Web 1.0. Amazon's big, but it's barely making any money. eBay's making some money. There are a few more, but that's about it.
