I think I've seen stats that women participate up to 30% or so, but
that means to me that the ties to emotional bonds holds women back in
those arenas.  The double duty of family work and work work out side
the home.  Emotion ties in the socialist structure are out side the
home not 'cognizent' of how emotion ties hold women back.

No encouragement is necessary if women are on the rise.   What's the
chain?  I think it important to realize as women more and more dominate
academy that mail lists can be dominated by women but the question of
emotional ties languishes for the mass of women's work.  Poorly paid
for good reason.  The capitalist lick their lips as they encroach on
the value of emotional ties.  Not therapist hocus pocus, the transition
into the automated reproduction of emotions into all brain work.
