I suppose.

I just object to the habit he has of putting a plus where the US
State Department or the WSJ editorial page puts a minus. Just because
the WSJ editorial page condemns repression in China, we are not
obligated to whitewash that repression. You did the same thing with
respect to the bus driver's strike in Iran, searching high and low
for evidence that they were being bankrolled by the CIA. This is the
Workers World Party approach to politics and really quite
reactionary, even if put forward in the name of socialism. Since you
seem far more interested in Amin's multipolar triangulated bloc
formation on a new wave of global restructuring than socialism at
this point, maybe it is besides the point to criticize you. I would
prefer the Yoshie of old but as Doug pointed out that Yoshie seems
gone forever.

I don't support the Solidarity Center, and I don't support US aid and
sanctions, and that's categorical, even if one or two instances of
them were found to be good or neutral.

If you read the Iranian Labour News Agency's reports, you notice that
workers' protests and things like that happen just about every week in
Iran. If the Solidarity Center selected the Vahed workers to support,
among all other Iranian workers who have struck or protested or Middle
Eastern workers who have done either for that matter, no doubt there
is reason for that.
