You know, I have no idea why anyone talks to Samantha Bee and COMEDY CENTRAL if they don't want to get a custard pie in the face. It's not as though it's something so new you don't know how it works....
That's just like these discussions. Maternity leave is a class issue. Say it and you get a pie in the face as a workerist insensitive to women's issues. Or take it up as a women's issue and get a pie in the face because it's an matter of merely western concern. Or ignore it because it's a matter of purely western concern, and get a pie in the face for paternalistically caring about issues of importance to Third World women and not women in the West.
