I agree with Doug about Iran. I don't think that the propaganda machine, good as it is, could get support for another war unless there were an attack on the US. But the denunciation of others on the list and previous squabbles from other lists don't belong here.
I don't think that we have to idealize Iran to oppose opposition. Imagine opposing the Iraq invasion by explaining how good Saddam was. Would that really help to prevent the invasion?
