1) Michael, how about banning the word "Iran" from pen-l for the rest
of November?

2) if I ran the zoo -- which I don't -- I'd have the US and its allies
suddenly and totally remove all current sanctions against Iran (a big
bang). That would (a) help the Iranian people; (b) shake up the
_status quo_ (which is bad on balance); and (c) end the profits being
earned by the black marketeers and smugglers, who I would guess work
hand in glove with the mullahocracy.
