Is home South Dakota? Maybe you could come up for a
visit while you are back. I think you can make it in a
day from there. We used to stop at Sioux Falls on our
way down to Missouris to visit our daughter a few
years back when she went to the U of M at Rolla. We
have two rooms upstairs with beds.
What sort of health problems are you having? I
imagine Elvie is finished her nursing by now. Will she
be going to the US soon too?
I am having a bit of trouble controlling my blood
glucose. I have diabetes type 2. It was much better in
the Philippines. However, I am on a new medication now
and it is common to "progress" to using insulin
eventually as the pancreas gets tired of producing any
insulin and the meds tend to kill the cells that make
it. Once on insulin the levels are relatively easy to
control. I guess SOnia will have to stick me once a
day when that happens!
