Doyle,
This refers to 2001 which I presume you mean that the trend is still
occurring? As opposed to increased use of credit card debt to rotate
debt and have no savings now amongst the lowest percentile?
Anecdotally that is what I see amongst people I know who are extremely
poor but not homeless yet.
