No, at least not the professionals. Even the awful ones have some
basic musical skills.

*In* *General* I can't argue with you there. But not all of Nashville
is awful. And Nashville is by no means all of country music.
If you want examples of mainstream Nashville stuff that is first rate
there is 90% of what Allison Krause does, about half of what Faith
Hill does, a lot of Trisha Yearwood. I like Gretchen Wilsons rowdier
stuff too, though I warn you she is in the country music commercial
mainstream politically - super reactionary. I could list a lot more.
Alan Jackson is good. And his drinking sone, "Its Five O'Clock
Somewhere" could be the anthem for Tom's WorkLess Party.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure that this video will affect most people who
like country music like chalk scraping over a chalk board.
