That's not the From: header sent out by the PEN-L list server at all.
Here's what it sends:
From: Patrick Bond <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Your mailreader (I suspect Microsoft Outlook?) is rewriting the From:
header based on the contents of the Sender: header. Highly incorrect
behaviour.
