It makes me angry to hear these damned politicians conflate "fighting global warming" with "attaining energy independence" in order to justify ethanol. Ethanol DOES NOT help fight global warming at all. Hello, using involves burning it, which produces CO2... And "energy independence" is just a slogan for the worst kind of economic protectionism.
