you're right. and I am in no way irritated with you.

one of the problems is that there is a clear distinction between the
crude neoclassical economics that appears in the textbooks and the
much more sophisticated neoclassical economics that is taught at the
better graduate schools. (But often economists embrace both, saving
the latter for internal consumption.)
