Yes. Also the disjunct between the elite pure Econ Dept people and the masses of practitioners in non-Econ departments (Urban planning, area studies, African-American/Latino studies, sociology, geography, public affairs, etc.) and outside academia.

The two can be set against each other, undermining the Ekon. But don't do this too much. It's what's my book-in-progress entails.
