I would also like to ask a question regarding capn'trade and am grateful for such great postings, so I would like some comments that address questions about measuring the kinds of capital involved, regardless of the regulatory mechanisms. Is carbon trading of any kind an extreme abstraction from its material constituents? I am of course not trying to be an orthodox fogie about this, but I have been puzzling about marxist ecology recently and would like some opinions much better informed than I am.
