6 war protesters arrested at lawmaker's O.C. office
By Jennifer Delson
Six antiwar demonstrators were arrested at the Garden Grove office of
Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-Santa Ana) this morning, after camping out
overnight and telling her they wouldn't leave unless she publicly
promised not to approve more funding for the war in Iraq.
Most of the protesters are members of the group Military Families Speak
Out. They entered the office about 7 p.m. Tuesday during an open house.
They sat on the floor in the lobby and refused to leave unless the
congresswoman made the statement they wanted. Sanchez refused.

What is it with Conyers and Sanchez? Do they have soiled blue dresses
in their closets? What is the dynamic that makes minorities who rise
to positions of responsibility and power turn dullard so quickly? Do
they feel they have to prove their rigidity to their corrupt cohorts,
like Bill and Hillary in their first administration? What is this
ailment? How do we detect it in its early phase? And how do we
prevent it and render it passé? Why do they act as a barrier
protecting the Whitey Chickenhawks from their own economically
distraught ethnic young people? Are they any better than the bold
faced liars and murderers they profess to oppose?
Pass me the coarse-ground pepper. My eggs benedict are getting cold.
