Doyle; I responded to your comment not Hall. You seem to think that reading Hall will absolve this theory of the masses being Thatcherites. I actually agree with Klein's thesis. The shock and awe that really happens undermines the Thatcherites where they employ that tactic. Iraq is a good example. What is hard to fight is the lack of catastrophe in the U.S. to these painful episodes. Limit the damage and lull the people. Is that what Hall wrote? Perhaps not, but then this is about literacy isn't it? Read all know all, be omniscient? Doyle
