I don't check the financial sections of the news too much, but I've seen reports over the last year or so that the cost of manufacturing cereal for the supermarket shelves has been rising.... But given the nature of the product and American consumption mores, that it wasn't an increase in the cost of ALL the sugar added to almost all processed cereals.
