Six weeks ago one of a fleet of five German built Israeli Dolphin Class submarines broke surface in the Eastern Mediterranean. As it let loose its cruise missiles on Syria, as various reports claimed, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hoped the world would not notice. Anything to justify war. Western 'democracies' are peddling malicious lies, propaganda, acting like evil dictatorships. When a modern, nuclear-armed 'democracy', such as Israel, violates international law on the sly, what has gone so wrong? Where did the post-war dreams of people power, tolerance, peace and freedom go? Fortunately for Israel the mighty European and US TV networks didn’t notice their submarine launched cruise missile strike, but murmurs from the Pentagon were plastered all over the regional press. Like all subjects of fast-moving global news today, how we understand war and global finance depends on who owns the TV satellite above our head, and which channels the owners have banned. The world has been divided into 'opinion zones' based on satellite coverage and across large swathes of the planet transmitting 'GroupThink' about who are the latest bad guys. The good guys are of course, always us. Lucky for Tel Aviv and Israel’s submariners, news of their missile strike did not appear on European media. Lucky, because all Israel’s missile strikes against Syria have been war crimes. Those who ordered and those who carried out these attacks are now liable to be executed under international law. The Israelis are dab hands at keeping it quiet. Soldiers of the IDF are murdering unarmed civilians, meting out collective punishment, practicing apartheid 'Lebensraum' land theft, stealing water, aping the most violent, totalitarian regimes in history. On the same day plans for peace talks on Syria in Geneva were dealt a body blow by French, British and US calls for military strikes. The NATO countries' post 9/11 foreign policy of permanent war is bad enough, but since 2008 Western governments are no longer simply bombing foreigners in faraway lands – they have turned their wrath on their respective domestic populations. The West is neither delivering for foreigners nor in the homeland and everyone is beginning to wonder whether the world would do better without the shadow NATO governments cast over the world. So how did the free West of Winston Churchill's 'Christian Civilization', which vanquished Nazism, lose its moral way? How did we come to consign the UN Charter to the dustbin, the very international law we put in place? How did we stand up to Hitler's invasions of Austria, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Norway, Holland, Belgium, France, then mimic his occupations round the world 60 years later in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya, and now step toward the tripwire for WWIII, toward the brink in Syria? How did the bloodlust for resources, stepped up a level by a desperate need to prop up dying economies, become the sole priority for the 'democracies' of Israel, Britain and America? * * * Where did America go so wrong? ** ** * In 1934, founders of the US Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) close to the Bush and Rockefeller families supported a fascist 'Business Coup' plot against Democratic President Franklin D. Roosevelt. This conspiracy was torpedoed by patriotic Major General Smedley Darlington Butler, who went on to write the definitive ‘War is a Racket’. In the early war years the undeterred US oil magnate and monopolist John D. Rockefeller toured Concentration Camps in 1940 as a guest of Heinrich Himmler’s ‘Freindship Group’, reportedly admiring the cost-effectiveness and efficiency of the Nazis' forced labor program. German industry paid the SS guards just 5DM a day per prisoner/worker. By war's end in July 1945, when Hitler’s Eastern Front intelligence chief, Reinhardt Gehlen, shook hands in Bern with US OSS intelligence chief Allen Dulles the Cold War partnership was to see both stars rise astronomically. Dulles was promoted in 1947 to head the newly-formed CIA and started dirty with Mockingbird, his secret propaganda operation to plant CIA stories throughout the Western media and run a spy in every newsroom. While Senator McCarthy was screaming about a communist conspiracy and destroying the careers of left wing artists and musicians, hundreds of Nazi war criminals had been given new identities under Project Paperclip and were on the CIA payroll, welcomed with open arms. Josef Mengele, the evil Auschwitz SS doctor's post war whereabouts were well known to the Americans too. The Nazi doctor's new home in Buenos Aires was kept secret by the Dulles faction. The 'Angel Of Death's' unspeakable experiments on human guinea pigs were continued in Canada in MK ULTRA by Dr. Ewen Cameron: mind control, mind altering drugs, high voltage brain electrocution and memory wiping courtesy of the CIA. *Where did Britain go so wrong? * * * British royalty's known Nazi sympathies can simply be attributed directly through their German Saxe-Coburg-Gotha family through Prince Albert and Queen Victoria. Whilst many know King Edward VIII was forced to abdicate in 1936 because of his support for Hitler, few have heard the tale of FBI Special Prosecutor John Loftus, who has seen the files. Demoted Prince Edward and Mrs. Simpson made a dash for Nazi territory, only just being challenged on the border into no-man’s land by an MI6 officer. Edward was promptly banished to be Governor of Bermuda with Nazi agent Wallace Simpson for the duration of the war. Imagine how useful to minister Josef Goebbels' wartime propaganda broadcasts a former King of Britain would have been. One of the key figures, the man with Hitler’s checkbooks, was Nazi Party secretary Martin Bormann. Overseen by Naval Intelligence author Ian Fleming MI6 snatched him in Berlin from under the noses of the Russians and brought him briefly to Britain on his way to a new life in South America. John Ainswoth-Davies, aka Christopher Creighton's book 'Op. JB', describes the Bormann snatch in detail. Whether by design or not, Desmond Morton's 'M' Section MI6 ensured the survival of the Nazi empire by giving Bormann and his loot safe passage, minus the swastikas, into the post-war world. A totalitarian faction remained largely behind the scenes until a plot to topple independent-minded Labour Prime Minister Harold Wilson came to a head in the 1970s. His refusal to send British troops to fight in the Vietnam War caused ire from the Americans. Far-right elements in the British Army and MI5 began to bully him out of office, bugging and burgling their way through Downing Street and his cabinet ministers, eventually forcing Wilson to resign in 1976. What followed was no less than the rape of a nation. Asset stripping on a grand scale as, under Margaret Thatcher, the state infrastructure was sold off abroad and to The City of London's richest investors, opening up a wealth gap that since the 1980s has never ceased driving the poorest third of the population below the poverty line. A sham democracy run simply to feed the whims of international resource thieves and with a Chatham House privatized foreign policy drawn up by arms manufacturers such as Lockheed Martin, KBR, Bechtel, BAe Systems and EADS. The thirst for privatization is now extending, without parliamentary debate, to privatization of the Ministry of Defence, makes Britain something akin to ancient Sparta with young people brought up in debt to serve either in industry or the war machine. That royal flirtation with Nazism continues through to the present with Prince Charles being a devoted fan of Hitler's architect and armaments minister Albert Speer. Famous for the most colossal slave labor operation of the post medieval world, Speer was also architect of the Nuremberg stadium where Hitler held his favorite rallies. Also, Prince Philip was educated from age 12 in a Nazified German school and all four of Philip's sisters married German princes, some of them with Nazi connections. Their hero was ace Mossad officer Isser Harel, who ran a successful mission in 1960 to kidnap Adolf Eichmann, senior SS officer behind the Jewish Holocaust, the 'Final Solution'. But the Mossad kidnap didn't go down well in wealthy South American circles, as retired wartime CBS News Correspondent Paul Manning recounts in his book 'Martin Bormann: Nazi in Exile'. “...when Adolf Eichmann was seized and taken to Tel Aviv to stand trial, it produced a shock wave in the Jewish and German communities of Buenos Aires. Jewish leaders informed the Israeli authorities in no uncertain terms that this must never happen again because a repetition would permanently rupture relations with the Germans of Latin America, as well as with the Bormann organization, and cut off the flow of Jewish money to Israel. It never happened again, and the pursuit of Bormann quieted down at the request of these Jewish leaders.” So Tel Aviv bowed to financial pressure from wealthy South American Jews who were now working with ex-Nazis. Harel was shamefully sacked by the Israeli Prime Minister in March 1963. By quietly taking the money, by giving up on justice for the SS concentration camp commandants, David Ben-Gurion betrayed the millions of Jewish victims of the Nazi holocaust, less than 30 years after the state of Israel was born. * * * No room for honorable statesmen ** ** * During the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis the world arguably came closer than ever before to a nuclear war. High ranking US generals such as Curtis LeMay and the aptly-named Thomas Power wanted to 'fight and win' a nuclear exchange, to "fry Cuba", declaring, "...at any point the Soviet Union could have been obliterated without more than expectable losses on our side." President Kennedy begged to differ, and for his trouble, as New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison discovered, was assassinated on November 22, 1963. Three British Labour leaders have died too in suspicious circumstances as they approached high office. Hugh Gaitskell in 1963, John Smith in 1994 and principled Foreign Secretary Robin Cook in 2005. Officials refused Cook's wife permission to accompany him to hospital with a minor ailment on what turned out to be his final fatal journey. One need look no further than Italy in 1981 to see a system of secret post-war government in action in the West. Licio Gelli's P2 Masonic lodge was convened under the Grand Orient of Italy and reportedly included nearly 1,000 prominent business leaders, media proprietors, police and secret service heads and met regularly to decide the fate of Italians behind closed doors. * * * No justice, no peace ** ** * So it was the failure of the post-war Western alliance to deliver justice in the decades after World War II that is behind the West's obsession with military adventurism. That's why we struggle to deliver justice and democracy in the West to this day. Humanity will not shake itself free of the curse of bigger and better guns in the nuclear age until it recognizes that Nazism was not defeated in 1945, but embraced by Western governments, big business and yes, even by the Israeli state. No more feeding the greedy while our poor go begging to food banks. We must locate and arrest those financial, secret state and media thugs who think 'national security' and the boardroom sets them above the rest of us. We must expose the cult of deception and political gangsterism, seize our generation's finest hour, and finish the job Winston Churchill started in 1939.
