We've been experimenting with filebench a little and were surprised to see that in the workload we tried (web server) it never did a single read-only open. Does filebench always open files with O_RDWR?
That's a problem for NFSv4 testing, for example, since the open mode can change the server's delegation-granting behavior. --b. (Apologies for any duplicates.
