For now, I have put all perfmon3 support for libpfm in a dedicated branch.
You need to pull from that branch:

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/perfmon2
co -r perfmon3 -P libpfm

That version has support for perfmon3 and perfmon2.
