            Bug ID: 2379897
Summary: GCC and perl-WWW-GoodData conflict on gdc
                    [perl-WWW-GoodData part]
           Product: Fedora
           Version: rawhide
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
         Component: perl-WWW-GoodData
          Severity: low
          Assignee: lkund...@v3.sk
          Reporter: vkadl...@redhat.com
        QA Contact: extras...@fedoraproject.org
                CC: lkund...@v3.sk, perl-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org
  Target Milestone: ---
    Classification: Fedora

Both GCC (gcc-gdc.rpm) and perl-WWW-GoodData provide `/usr/bin/gdc` and
`/usr/share/man/man1/gdc.1.gz`. The conflict makes
`fedora-ci.koji-build.rpmdeplint.functional` fail for both the components as
can be seen in Bodhi. It looks like both the packages have been shipping the
files for years.

IIUC the Conflicts Guidelines
[https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/packaging-guidelines/Conflicts/], ideally
the maintainers try avoid the conflict, if not possible then the packages
should declare the conflict.

Jakub and Lubomir, please give it a thought. If you don't see a way to avoid
the conflict then please take this ticket as a request to declare the conflict
and make the CI tests a bit greener.

Reproducible: Always
