            Bug ID: 2428253
Summary: Unable to Install perl-CPAN using dnf
           Product: Fedora
           Version: 43
          Hardware: x86_64
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
         Component: perl-CPAN
          Severity: high
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
        QA Contact: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected], [email protected],
                    [email protected], [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---
    Classification: Fedora

Description of problem:

Unable to install package due to unresolved dependency

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

perl-CPAN-2.38-521.fc43.noarch

How reproducible:

Happens every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1.dnf install perl-CPAN

Actual results:

# dnf install perl-CPAN
Updating and loading repositories:
Repositories loaded.
Failed to resolve the transaction:
Problem: conflicting requests
  - nothing provides perl(Compress::Zlib) needed by
perl-CPAN-2.38-521.fc43.noarch from DAB-Fedora-extras
You can try to add to command line:
  --skip-broken to skip uninstallable packages

Expected results:

Package installs correctly

Additional info:

When I looked at the dependencies on
https://packages.fedoraproject.org/pkgs/perl-CPAN/perl-CPAN/fedora-43.html

It doesn't show perl(Compress::Zlib) as a dependency.
