Some of you may have seen my rant (http://perl.clueball.com) and seen the
part about keeping foreign language translations up to date...

My current plan is to ask Ask to set up a bunch of
perl.documentation.languagename where people can post diff files and discuss
the docs. We should also probably maintain a central site for foreign
language translations, where people can pick up different versions (as in
5.6.0 and 5.6.1) of the docs in the different langauges. Also, someone (that
sounds a bit like I'm volunteering) should take it upon themselves to find
foreign language pumpkings - can anyone here host a CVS system for the
different languages?

I'd like to get the ball rolling on this - I've found a suitable French
pumpking - I'm looking for others for other languages - suggestions welcome.

So:
(a) If anyone can set up a CVS system for the different languages / has a
better idea, please say
(b) If anyone knows who's maintaining translations of the docs, please let
me know - I've found it surprisingly difficult to find them so far, but
then, perhaps I'm just stupid
(c) If anyone has any other suggestions, or would like to nominate
themselves as translation pumpking, reply to the group.

Thanks

+Pete
