    * general format (has a title, etc).

    * web links can be checked for reachability (although a 
    single failure shouldn't remove it)

    * internal links to other perlish documents can be checked
    (i think i saw some CPAN paths a couple of times)

    * POD syntax and entity handling.

i can probably think of others, but we don't have to do everything
right away.  simply having a tinderbox is good.

will the source be in the perlfaq module?  i'll help :)
