Remember this?
I'm still working on my referral-chasing subclass of Net::LDAP and I'm in a
world of hurt right now...I keep running into "unsuported extended
operation" errors when I try to bind to a referred host using tls.
I even wrote a simple script that creates an ldap object using tls, binds,
and then without unbinding creates another object binding to the same server
using tls and both seem to work just fine. I'm, thus far, unable to
reproduce the error outside of my module...which is killing me.
If I can get approval to show one or more of you my module, is there anyone
who would be willing to take a look at it and see if anything jumps out at
you? I would be forever grateful, and would do my best to see to it that you
got any O'Reilly book of your choosing as a token of my gratitude.
Of course, I still have to get approval to disclose the source, which might
take an act of Congress, but I thought I'd put the feelers out in advance
just in case.
Thanks, in advance, for your time.
