Does perl-ldap-0.3202 work with Sasl2?
I'm trying to use Sasl Version 2 with Net::LDAP and
I keep getting
Unknown SASL property: 'sockname'
(user|ssf|maxout|realm|optctx|iplocalport|
ipremoteport|service|serverfqdn|authsource|mechname|authuser)
Can someone confirm that perl-ldap-0.3202 is written to
only work with SASL::Cyrus Version 1? I'm using it with
Authen-SASL-2.08
Authen-SASL-Cyrus-0.11
I'm building the Authen-SASL-Cyrus-0.11 against the
cyrus-sasl-2.1.20 release and perl5.8 on solaris 5.9.
But from my reading of the source of the perl-ldap-0.3202
and the implementation of sasl in the above, the ldap
module assumes an earlier version of sasl. Is this correct?
I'm just looking for confirmation (or rejection) of my observation,
