This is perl 5, version 21, subversion 2 (v5.21.2 (v5.21.1-217-ga8ee7c1*)
now pushed to
http://perl5.git.perl.org/perl.git/shortlog/refs/heads/khw/ebcdic
You could try just this
./perl -Ilib -le 'qr/[a-z]/'
If that works, try what you did before
~/ussport/perl/perl-5.20/t :> ../miniperl -Dr -I../lib TEST base/*.t
</dev/tty
and if that works, try the whole thing.
If it doesn't work, probably a debugger session will be required.
