Yeah, what's the deal with that? "Hello, I am a CPAN testers report, here to report that your module doesn't work on Perl 5.005 because of a 'require 5.006;' statement!" Yes, I know. I know *because* I put in that statement on purpose *because* the module doesn't work on Perl 5.005. Is there a better place to put the "Don't bother trying to run this on ancient software?" note in such a way that the CPAN testers won't waste their time and, eventually, mine too? -- c
