Testing under CPANPLUS

Before I work it out for myself does anyone know if it's possible to  
simulate the test environment created by CPANPLUS? We're currently  
seeing some funny results for Test::Harness with CPANPLUS and I'd  
like to add a Build target that runs the tests as if they were being  
run by CPANP that's available if CPANP is installed.
