I've just committed (svn r12149) David Wheeler's change to enable check subroutines on properties in Module::Build, which is now used to validate the installdirs property. And since this was never (AFAICT) reported as a bug in RT, I had a little conversation with myself here: https://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=41645 Perhaps some wonderful volunteer can check if one or more of your 57 open tickets is also solved by this change?
