Just FYI. :-) As of 0.04, the GBK <=> Big5 mapping is made 'complete': all displayable characters have their mappings in the other charset, although expressed as unicode data points.
Also, HanConvert now uses .ucm file instead of .enc, although it won't install itself via enc2xs; the reason is that the two encodings, 'big5-simp' and 'gbk-trad' aren't supposed to be used directly; the big5_to_gb / gb_to_big5 / trad_to_simp / simp_to_trad functions should be used instead.
