[Perl-unix-users] How to make a delay before a instruction.

Hi everybody,

I try to make a script, but a need to make a delay before a instuction
this is a example:

close(Aprob);

print Aprob @new;

(I what to make the delay befor this next instruction)

open( mail| /usr/bin/mail  bla bla bla ...
