It doesn't look like anything that you are doing wrong. That example should compile fine (it's more complex examples that I can't seem to get working). I'm not sure what the problem is, but it looks like perlcc may not like your installation of perl. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Perhaps someone else on this list is more familiar with HPUX?
